Thanks for covering a misunderstood gem. When I heard the fan at full speed I figured it needs a decarbonization and also replacement of vvt solenoids. These engines are prone to carbonation like the VW TSI of the same gen. Since the history is chequered it may also have been operated with inappropriate oil causing the carbon build up. The wipers are also the wrong size. Fuel tank capacity is 60L for 308 just like 307.
